UNC Galleries is bringing artists and experts together at “The Artist Help Desk” a
FREE pop-up professional practice workshop open to students, faculty, and the
community. Each twenty-minute session will provide the opportunity for one-on-one
consultations with art professionals including curators, gallerists, writers, marketing

wizzes and more!


Meet Our Fall Guest Helpers:


September 2 & October 20: BRIANNA HARRIS, Marketing Coordinator

Brianna-Harris Briana Harris is the Marketing Coordinator for the College of Performing and Visual Arts at the University of Northern  Colorado, where her roles include digital and print marketing, event planning, community outreach, and web design. A  saxophonist by trade, Briana performs throughout Colorado in groups including The Burroughs, Art Deco, the Colorado Jazz  Orchestra, and The Cairn Project. She’s passionate about helping creatives combine excellent artistry with smart tech skills so  that artists can one day rule the world.


September 22: JOSH MISTHAL, Graphic Designer


 Josh Misthal is a Denver-based art director and graphic designer. Misthal uses his experience across the advertising and  marketing spectrum to create designs that are meaningful, impactful, and simple. Misthal also posesses experience in  copywriting, stratedgy, media, and project management. He matches versatility, efficiency, and creativey to produce quality  design under even the most grueling deadline. Misthal has worked with companies such as: L'Oreal, McCann New York,  42West, and Google to name a few. 

October 6: JAMES OBERMIER, Artist

November 3: GEORGE PEREZ, Interdiscplinary Artist and Curator

November 17: DYLAN GEBBIA-RICHARDS, Artist

dylan_gebbia_richards Dylan Gebbia-Richards received his BFA in Painting and his BA in Art History at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  Gebbia-Richards has exhibited widely in Colorado, having been included in exhibitions at the Denver International Airport  and McNichols Civic Center. He has also shown in Connecticut and New York. He was recently included in New American  Paintings recently had a solo show at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. Gebbia-Richards' site-specific exhibition,  "Echo"  is currently on view in Mariani Gallery through Decemeber 11, 2017.
