Concerts Under the Stars is an annual outdoor concert series featuring an eclectic mix of music from Colorado and beyond, presented at UNC's historic Garden Theatre!

Free seating is available on the lawn for those who wish to bring their own chair or blanket.

July 9: Bluegrass Faculty Concert

Hear our brand new UNC Bluegrass faculty in concert for an evening of folk and bluegrass music under the stars. These musicians have toured and recorded around the country, and we’re thrilled to present their music right here at UNC. 

July 11: Colorado Jazz Orchestra

A perennial favorite, the Colorado Jazz Orchestra includes our UNC Jazz Faculty as well as some of the best jazz musicians from across the state and beyond. Hear big band classics and new arrangements from leading jazz performers and composers. 

July 16: Mariachi Extravaganza

Featuring Mariachi Aztlan and the University of Texas -Rio Grande Valley Ballet Folklorico, this concert will build upon the success of last summer's inaugural mariachi event. Hear the powerful sound of a 20-piece band and vocalists along with the beauty of the ballet folklorico.

July 18: 101st Army Dixieland Band

Anytime is a good time to celebrate when the 101st Army Dixieland Band is in town! This mirthful military band’s repertoire features music from the beginning of jazz, bringing the hits of Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Jelly Roll Morton and many others to a new generation of traditional jazz enthusiasts. 

July 23: Jakarta Funk Band

Denver’s HOTTEST old school funk and R&B band is bringing the soul to Greeley! The Jakarta Band plays a variety of music from disco, soul, hip-hop, and soft rock. Bring your dancing shoes for an unforgettable night. 

July 25: Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra

Greeley’s hometown professional orchestra, under the direction of Glen Cortese, closes out the summer season with a collection of classics and pops hits. Now in its 106th year, the GPO is the longest-operating orchestra in the region.
