Theatre Design and Technology
The Design and Technology program at UNC combines the best of practical application and applied theory, and consists of multiple tracks within the program that gives each student the ability to build an education tailored to his or her personal needs and aspirations.
Our students have access to a state-of-the-art design lab, as well as superior technical equipment in all the theatres that maximizes the designing potential for each space.
In addition to the numerous production opportunities available throughout the academic year, the Theatre Design and Technology program also fosters professional development through our resident summer theatre, The Little Theatre of the Rockies. Each summer, this professional summer stock company produces five additional productions with a company consisting of industry professionals and advanced students, providing our majors with a remarkable learning environment and real-world, practical experience.
