The Musical Theatre program at UNC is designed to provide promising young performers with professionally structured voice, acting, and dance training for the professional stage.
Our alumni are working on and off Broadway, in major regional theatres, and in touring productions throughout the United States and across the globe.
In addition to intense classroom and studio training, students are also presented with numerous performance opportunities including main-stage musicals, operas, plays and dance concerts, one-acts, improv and sketch comedy troupes, and the Little Theatre of the Rockies professional summer stock theatre company.
In their senior year, Musical Theatre majors also have the opportunity to audition for New York and Los Angeles Showcases, which provide many of our graduates with invaluable networking opportunities with some of the industry's leading agents and casting directors.
